THE PROBLEM

The CEO and Chairman of this second generation family owned business sought to bring new funding for the company and to manage his personal exit from the business. He was seeking to realize the best transaction for the company and identify a path to his own personal exit and eventual liquidity.

THE SOLUTION

SHG helped guide the strategy of the company and led it to its first major borrowing, allowing distribution to the major shareholders including our client. We further guided the CEO to transition to a successor within the company and helped the company prepare for a possible IPO. The result was a $400 million private raise. Subsequently we have guided the Chairman and his family to exit the company completely and begin to realize liquidity and diversification from his concentrated wealth position. The final result was over a hundred million of personal loan availability. The Company continues to provide investment banking advice and related services to the family.
